These Studio Terms apply when you rent or book studio space with BookMyStudio. By confirming a studio booking, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment Terms

a. A studio booking is confirmed only once BookMyStudio has received a cleared deposit or advance payment (e.g. 50% of the total rental fee), or full payment as required.
b. The balance (if any) must be paid immediately upon completion of the session (or before vacating the studio), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking Time & Delays

a. The booking time starts at the confirmed start time. If you arrive late, your booking charges still count from the original scheduled start.
b. You may not extend into another booking’s time unless explicit agreement is obtained (and extra charges will apply).

3. Setup & Teardown / Cleanup

a. Setup and teardown (including clean-up) must be done within the booked hours.
b. You should plan your shoot accordingly to include time for lighting, sets, props, etc., within your slot.
c. If the studio is left in an unreasonable or messy state, additional cleaning charges may apply (at BookMyStudio’s discretion).

4. Studio Condition & Cleanliness

a. You must return the studio and its equipment to the same general condition as at the start of your booking.
b. Standard cleaning is expected; minimal tidying is your responsibility.
c. If special cleaning is needed (heavy mess, spills, etc.), a cleaning fee may be charged.

5. Number of Attendees / Capacity

a. Your booking fee usually covers a certain number of persons (e.g. up to 5 people, or as specified).
b. You must inform us in advance of your crew/attendee count.
c. Exceeding the agreed number may lead to additional charges (e.g. ₹500 per extra person or as per our policy).
d. BookMyStudio reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate the booking if the studio capacity is exceeded, for safety or operational reasons.

6. Equipment, Props & Usage

a. Basic lighting, stands, backdrops, and standard gear included in the studio rental will be indicated ahead of booking.
b. Use of additional or special equipment, props, or setups not included will incur extra charges.
c. You are responsible for the proper handling of studio equipment. Damage or misuse will be charged to you.

7. Overtime & Extensions

a. If you exceed your booked time, overtime will be billed at the studio’s hourly overtime rate.
b. Extensions are subject to availability and approval.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

a. Cancellations made sufficiently in advance (e.g. 7 days or more) may be eligible for rescheduling (subject to availability).
b. Cancellations closer to the booking date (within 7 days) may lead to forfeiture of the deposit or advance payment.
c. Rescheduling requests are subject to studio availability and may incur an administrative fee.

9. Liability & Indemnification

a. You assume responsibility for all persons you bring into the studio.
b. BookMyStudio is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your booking.
c. You agree to indemnify BookMyStudio against any claims, losses, costs, or damages arising from your use of the studio, including any damage to property or equipment.

10. Use Policies & Restrictions

a. The studio may not be used for unlawful activities, unsafe behavior, or any purpose not agreed upon.
b. Smoking, open flame, heavy liquids, and destructive activities (unless preapproved) are prohibited.
c. Food & beverages should be restricted to approved areas; any spills or mess caused may attract cleaning fees.
d. You must comply with local regulations, permits, or location permissions required (if your shoot requires it).

11. Termination of Booking

BookMyStudio reserves the right to terminate the booking (without refund) if:

You violate any studio term or policy

Behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or illegal

You refuse to comply with staff instructions

12. Force Majeure

BookMyStudio shall not be liable for non-performance or inability to provide access due to causes beyond its control (natural disaster, power outage, government restrictions, etc.).

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Studio Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State / Country]. Any disputes arising shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City].
